FARIDKOT

As the name suggests, FARIDKOT is a collection inspired by the princely state, which, still exists as a district in modern day Punjab. The city was named in the honor of Baba Farid, a revered 13th century Sufi saint, poet and mystic, whose shrine is located in Pakpattan, Pakistan. The narrative of the collection in terms of color, motif and silhouette are grand, opulent and regal, dipped in the cultural history of Punjab and will transport you to a time that was.

The collection is bohemian and eclectic, vibrant and layered with pattern, texture and motifs. Sahaara is the story of a 'GLOBAL NOMAD' and is a take on the grandeur and vastness of the largest hot desert in the world situated on the African continent.

Taking the desert rose or the adenium obesum as its direct inspiration for its motifs in wooden block printing. The Sahaara is stretched across the Red Sea, hence the collection is a cultural celebration of countries like Egypt, Sudan, Libya, Mali, Morocco and others that it covers.

BARSANA is a collection discretely inspired by the historical town of Barsana in Uttar Pradesh, India, which is believed to be the birthplace of the hindu goddess Radha, the chief consort of Lord Krishna. The motif language is floral, and the colour palette is bright, fresh, and playful. The collection is inspired by the essence of love and beauty and friendship.
